Why is there no easy way for miners to see the depletion of asteroids? How about adding a little meter under the asteroid (similar to how EW is done) showing its depletion status? "Shoot at anything that moves. If it doesn't move, shoot it anyway, it might move later."

Fearless M0F0 wrote:Increase all ship's warp speed by a factor (10x maybe?) One thing that bugs me about this game is all the time you waste warping around and it seems like a really quick fix. I first realized it when I mentioned Eve to a coworker who plays STO, his reaction was a bleh followed with a sarcastic "warp drive enabled" and zzzZZZzzz ... and the more i think about it, the more I realize he had a pretty good point. Is there a reason warps take so long? The problem honestly isn't the actual warp speed (which is actually quite fast. a 60 AU jump in even a battleship is only 20 seconds @ 3AU/s) but the acceleration/deceleration which takes FOREVER. Cutting acc/dec times by 2/3 would make warp speed actually matter. Inties could potentially land at a gate BEFORE the guy they are chasing. For that to happen now, you'd have to be REALLY on the ball. "Shoot at anything that moves. If it doesn't move, shoot it anyway, it might move later."

Use the tactical overview and it displays the range of missiles "Shoot at anything that moves. If it doesn't move, shoot it anyway, it might move later."

Shuno Bravo wrote:Overview & Ship info.
To a new player the number of different types of ships is overwellming.
The overview is not helpful in this respect as it displays the 'racial type' rather than the base type.
i.e as well as stating 'Claw' it should also be able to display 'Interceptor' , and even 'Minmatar' to those that want to see this.
Perhaps rather than the text 'Minmatar' one column could apear in the racial color.
Dear god this is brilliant! I thought of this the other day too, and your solution is quite frankly clever. "Shoot at anything that moves. If it doesn't move, shoot it anyway, it might move later."

- Fight without Concord
if you klick on a other player you can enable him to fight you (even in highsec) without concord interference. if both partys enable that button, they can attack each other everytime.
why: because I'm sick of getting blown up by concord despide the fact that we flipped cans... (no not the same fleet, not the same corp, not even the same alliance.)
Flipping cans doesn't work if you have above +5 standing towards eachother. Set eachother neutral and flipping works for aggression. "Shoot at anything that moves. If it doesn't move, shoot it anyway, it might move later."

Garrvik wrote:TL;DR: Less fast disappearing text popups, more audio alerts.
One of the things that really frustrates me is when I try to do something and it doesn't work. I can never seem to figure out why. I'm in a mission, combat log is flying by so fast I can't see what the error message was. I can't read it on the screen cause the box disappears so fast.
When I first started playing, I organized my overview to have the information I cared about. I'm real fussy with my UI and screen real-estate. I set up my columns in my overview to take up the entire window region. I had no idea that the left over "gutter" region is where the ECM icons would show up. For the first 6 months of play, I'd try to warp out only to realize someone was scrambling me and I'd lose my ship. I never knew which ship it was. I never knew when it was happening. Little icons not appearing (no gutter space in my overview). Text windows in the middle of my screen that flip so fast, I can't read them. Log windows that scroll with more information than I can possibly read. Little jamming bars at the bottom of my screen that I'd never notice. I'm in a ship that can give audio alerts for shields/armor/hull damage, speak to me as it warps around on autopilot, why can't it speak or beep when I'm being scrammed or jammed?
What I would like is the ability to enable/disable audio alerts for important items that are only currently available through tiny visual elements in the UI. "You are unable to warp because you are being warp scrambled." The most terrifying thing Aura ever uttered, next to her incessant laugh when you were podded. I cannot stress this enough:

Shuno Bravo wrote:Those doing PI in low sec and null sec gain access, and lower taxes, the better their standing is to the owner of the customs office.
Whereas those doing PI in hisec pay the same customs office taxes whether their standings to the faction in whose space they are doing PI is -2 or +10.
This is wrong .
The higher the persons faction standing in hisec the lower the tax rate should be.
From an RP perspective those with the higher standing have contributed more to cost of maintaining security in hisec. Except that the POCOs are run by Interbus, and there's no way of getting standing for Interbus. Hence they do not care about you. "Shoot at anything that moves.
